I actually finished this a couple days ago. |D

SO. Here's Adrian's parents.

William Cornelius Foalsteppe
Not gonna lie... Adrian's dad is awesome. He's the kind of father who would sneak his child a Klondike bar when he was sent to his room. Despite losing a once-winning complexion, his graying hair, and his sun-bleached fur, he still has the same spirit he had twenty years ago.
William was born and raised in a beach house adjacent to Olivine City, Johto. There, he helped run a jointed surf-gift-snack shack with his family, which consisted of his father, mother, and LOTS of siblings. The majority of those siblings evolved into Vaporeon, logically, but that's only because they would usually take to deep-sea diving to find broken off coral or dead Shellder shells to bring up to the shop, and Water Stones happened to be littered around in all the junk. William never had such luck, unfortunately. Instead, the overexposure to the sun evolved him into an Espeon. His love of the ocean never faltered, but he spontaneously gained a sharper sense and interest for the weather. He would warn his family when a huge storm was coming and tell them when to close up shop and shelter themselves. William also gained a stronger desire to learn, which brought him to ask his parents for the funding money to be sent to college. They barely had anything to lend him, so he got most of his funding from scoring high on advanced placement tests.
Once at college in Celadon City Kanto, William took classes to study the weather. He also met the love of his life, Dawn Wood, who also seemed to be interested in the weather. Even when the two got married and had Adrian, the Espeon's love of the weather remained strong. He took up a job as a radar for the local weather station - a job that he adored with all his heart. Being laid off was a hard hit indeed. His new job as a travel agent didn't fill the void at all. Even though he detested his job, he found joy in sending back unnecessarily long descriptions of the weather in each location he visited. He tried everything to incorperate weather into his everyday life. This was secretly one of the reasons he gifted his son with a TM for Sunny Day.
He still currently works at the travel agency and hates his job, but works hard notheless. His style of dress had definately stuck from his childhood. He'll wear pretty much anything as long as it's still comfortable. He looks rough, yes, but he's honest, kind, works hard, and will dress up nicely when he's told to.

Dawn Seleine Wood
Not as awesome. Period. A once pretty Arcanine girl became an overprotective menace of a mother.
From the start of her life in Celadon City, Dawn was a hard worker who wanted to please her parents. The Growlithe girl was loyal, but her parents started taking her for granted. While she shared some loyalty with her friends, her parents would nag her, asking her why she wasn't doing her homework like she should have been. This caused her to escape the house a lot. A LOT. She would walk over to the route east of Celadon - a small expanse that connected the large city to the even larger city neighboring it. There, in that expanse, Dawn would watch the clouds, trying to forget her troubles. From there, she discovered that she had a fascination in the sky, which she linked to a fascination for the weather.
This pattern continued up to the age where she was sent to college, when her parents gave her a Fire Stone that allowed her to evolve into an Arcanine. Perhaps to start fresh... She didn't know. There in college, she took many earth science classes, where she met a dashing Espeon that sent her heart aflutter. William.
Once the two got married and had Adrian, Dawn's interest in science all but disappeared. She took a little too much interest with her son; no one alive today would argue for her case. She overbonded with Adrian at a young age, simple as that. But it wasn't entirely her fault. Her nature as an Arcanine caused her to be overprotective. She would snap at anyone who tried to approach the young child, sometimes even William.
She started to age with stress by the time her little boy started school. Her hair started to gray and she started losing her complexion. It all went downhill for her from there as well, especially when Adrian started wandering around with his friends on his own. Sure, it doesn't look like that NOW, but that's because she dyes her hair and uses anti-aging cream. Whenever Adrian even TALKS to her nowadays, she acts like Freddy Benson's mother in iCarly. Yeah. That bad.

AND TODAY THESE TWO BICKER LIKE AN OLD MARRIED COUPLE.
...Oh wait.
